In 2013, Annette would like to try new activity on grassland. Then, she finds Laughter Yoga as a simple and direct aerobic exercise on the internet. Our brain could not differentiate whether laughing is real or fake nor remember any steps and actions. The only thing we need to do is to make a laugh sound with yogic breathing. This exercise is simple and efficient since laughing for 15 minutes could meet 30 minutes' rowing exercise level.

Laughter Yoga is really a fast tool due to continuous laugh could help our bodies to increase happy hormones called endorphin and release pressure .

 

Therefore, Annette joined many laughter yoga activities and workshops in communities in 2013. Then she became a laughter yoga leader after training in 2014 Oct. Later on, she joined the Advanced Laughter Yoga Training & Laughter Yoga Conference in Taiwan on 2015 Oct. During the conference, meeting the founder of laughter yoga, Dr Madan Kataria from India inspired her so much.

After that she was trained as an certified laughter teacher in 2016 Jun by Laughter Yoga University in Hong Kong. Now she spread laughter yoga for working adults, seniors, women, teenagers, students and families in different organizations, communities, social clubs (Kwun Tong Laughter Club and the internet.

我的大笑歷程 My Laughter Journey

2013年,Annette 初時在網上找有關草地活動時遇上大笑瑜伽,後來她發現大笑瑜伽是一個簡單直接的帶氧運動。我們不要記任何特別動作或招式,而且我們的頭腦不懂不分真笑或假笑,我們只要發出笑聲時配合瑜伽式呼吸法便可以。這種運動十分簡單快捷,15分鐘大笑等於30分鐘划艇的運動量。
大笑瑜伽是一項快速的工具,持續大笑能讓我們身體增加快樂荷爾蒙「安多酚」,以達致釋放壓力的效果。
​於是,在2013年,Annette 參加了很多不同的大笑活動和工作坊,她在2014年10月接受了專業訓練,成為國際認可大笑瑜伽領袖。在2015年10月,她到了台灣參加了世界華人愛笑大會師及愛笑瑜伽進階訓練課程,她在交流會議中見到大笑瑜伽創辦人Dr Kataria後,感受十分深刻,回港後決定再接受訓練,2016年成為國際認可大笑瑜伽導師,到機構﹑社區為不同服務對象如長者﹑在職人士﹑婦女﹑年青人﹑學生﹑親子等,更開創大笑俱樂部,定期舉辦大笑活動。
